ATO Prefills workpaper

How the ATO Prefills workpaper captures the information the ATO provides for each individual, and passes it to the other ITR workpapers.

The ATO Prefills workpaper holds the income, tax withheld, investment and other information received from the ATO for each individual in the tax return. It is the source of ATO-provided figures for the other Individual Tax Return (ITR) workpapers, so the same figures never need to be entered twice.

 Individuals

•     Each individual in the return has their own prefill information.

•     The workpaper shows the prefills for the selected individual only. One individual's data never appears against another's.
