How the manual IIS workpaper is structured and how to navigate between individual share investment sections.

The Investment Shares (IIS) workpaper reconciles the balance of each share investment account separately, so each holding can be validated against its own supporting statement. This workpaper is manual because share investment data is not reliably available as structured ledger data.

Data extraction

This workpaper is manual. Users need to enter all details manually.

Section structure

Each account code mapped to Investment - Shares in Chart of Accounts (CoA) mapping will have a separate section. Use the toggle to switch between:

  • Viewing all sections
  • Viewing only unreconciled sections

Balance per General Ledger (GL)

Balance of each account code mapped to Investment - Shares in CoA mapping.

How to access

  1. Go to Jobs and open the relevant job.
  2. Click the Workpapers Icon or navigate to Results then Workpapers.
  3. Select IIS on the Workpapers Dashboard.
