Resetting a job

How to reset a job in Zato to clear all data, results, and approvals, returning the job to setup.

Resetting a job clears all data, workpapers, results, approvals, and sign-offs for that job, returning it to the Job Setup phase. The client and the job itself remain in Zato. Only the work done on the job is cleared.

When to use a reset

Use a reset when the job information (client, period, scope) is correct but you want to redo the job from the start. For example, if the wrong source documents were uploaded, or automation was run with incorrect Chart of Accounts mapping.

Who can reset a job

Resetting is available in the portal for all users, subject to your firm's role-based access (RBAC) controls.

How to reset a job

  1. Click Jobs in the top navigation.
