Manager / Reviewer (Level 5) permissions

Permissions and restrictions for the Manager role, responsible for overseeing workflows and reviewing work.

The Manager supports the Director by overseeing workflows and reviewing work prepared by Accountants. This role functions primarily as a Reviewer.

Client management

  • Create, view, edit, group, reset, and run clients
  • Perform bulk actions

Job processing & automation

  • Upload Trial Balance (TB) and supporting documents
  • Perform Chart of Accounts (CoA) mapping
  • Run automation workflows and analyse results

Workpapers, General Ledger (GL) Scrutiny & journals

  • Prepare, review, approve, and reject all outputs
  • Send for review

Command Centre

  • Raise and respond to internal queries
  • Add review points and mark them as resolved
  • Send queries to clients

Restrictions

  • No access to firm-level setup (Terms of Use, branding, company details)
  • Cannot manage users or assign roles
  • Cannot sign off the final document

Viewing permissions in the platform

  1. Go to Firm Setup.
  2. Select Permissions.
  3. Use the L1–L6 buttons to toggle between role levels.
