User roles to set up before 6 April

The roles your firm needs configured in Zato before the transition begins, and who to nominate for each.

Your firm needs three roles configured in Zato before 6 April.

Champion (required)

Owns the transition and ongoing relationship with Connect. Confirms GL Scrutiny rules at setup and nominates which jobs go to Connect. Typically a director, partner, or senior manager.

Reviewer / Manager (required)

Reviews workpapers in Zato, raises review points, and approves client queries before they are sent. Multiple Reviewers per firm is fine.

Director (required)

Final sign-off in Zato once all workpapers are manager-approved. Your firm nominates which directors are set up β€” Connect configures access accordingly.

Administrator (optional)

Manages the client portal, sends questionnaires, and handles client responses.

Email your PSM with each person's name, email address, and role before 6 April to ensure your firm is configured and ready to go.
