How to remove a line item from a workpaper

How to delete a line item from a workpaper that should not be there, such as an ACC earners levy your firm does not reverse.

If a workpaper contains a line item that should not be there, you can remove it directly without affecting any data in your accounting system.

Steps

  1. Go to the workpaper and click the Edit tab.
  2. Locate the line item you want to remove.
  3. Click the Delete icon on the far right of the line.
  4. Click Save to confirm.

Deleting a line item only affects the workpaper within Zato. It does not modify any data in Xero or your accounting system. If you accidentally delete a line, you can re-add it using the steps in How to add or edit line items in a workpaper.
