Your first login - step by step

What you need before you start

• The welcome email from Zato — check your inbox and spam folder

• Your registered email address (the one you nominated)

• Access to that email inbox for the OTP code

First login steps

1. Open the welcome email and click the login link

2. Enter your username (registered email) and the temporary password from the email

3. Enter the 6-digit OTP sent to your email address

4. Create a new permanent password — must meet the complexity requirements shown on screen

5. Click Sign In — you will land on the Firm Setup page

6. Accept the Zato Terms of Use by ticking the checkbox to proceed

Forgot your password?

1. Click Forgot Password on the login screen

2. Enter your registered email address

3. Enter the OTP sent to your email

4. Set and confirm your new password

Common mistakes

• Using a personal email instead of the firm's registered email

• Not checking spam or junk for the welcome email or OTP

• Closing the OTP screen before entering the code — request a new one if it expires
