Accounting Fees workpaper
How the Accounting Fees workpaper records accounting and tax fees, allocates them to each entity or individual, and feeds D10.
The Accounting Fees workpaper records accounting and tax-related fees and allocates each one to the correct entity or individual. It lists the individual fee transactions and also totals them for each entity or individual. The deductible amount flows to D10 Cost of managing tax affairs in the Deductions workpaper.
Fee entries
Each fee has:
• Date
• Fee description
• Entity/Individual
• Net amount (excluding GST)
• Gross amount (including GST)
Calculations
• GST = 10% of the net amount
• Gross Amount = Net Amount + GST
Totals by entity
A fee total is calculated for each entity or individual. Changing any fee updates that entity's total.
Note: Each fee is included only once in the individual's deduction.
How to access
• Go to Jobs and open the relevant job.
• Click the Workpapers icon or navigate to Job Results then Workpapers.
• Select Accounting Fees on the Workpapers Dashboard.
Super Contributions workpaper
How the Super Contributions workpaper records personal super contributions and feeds the deductible amount to D12.
The Super Contributions workpaper records an individual's personal superannuation contributions and the information that supports the deduction. The eligible amount flows to D12 Personal superannuation contributions in the Deductions workpaper.
What you can record
• Personal super contribution details
• Super fund name
• Notice of Intent to Claim, attached or referenced
• ATO portal fund details, captured or referenced
• Concessional contributions, shown separately
• Non-concessional contributions, shown separately
• Super fund ledger information, available for review
Deductible amount
The workpaper identifies the amount that can be claimed as a personal superannuation deduction. That amount flows to D12 and updates automatically whenever the source amount changes.
Note: Each contribution is deducted only once.
How to access
• Go to Jobs and open the relevant job.
• Click the Workpapers icon or navigate to Job Results then Workpapers.
• Select Super Contributions on the Workpapers Dashboard.
