Firm details & branding

How to accept the Terms of Use, enter firm details, upload your logo, and register branch offices.

The first user is typically the Director and must accept the Zato Terms of Use before proceeding.

Accepting Terms of Use

Tick the Zato Terms of Use checkbox to confirm. Fields stay disabled until accepted. Click the link to view or download the document as a PDF.

Required information

  • Firm Name (required)
  • Contact Name (required)
  • Email (required)
  • Phone Number (optional): Select the country code from the dropdown (e.g. +64 for New Zealand).
  • Firm Logo (optional): Upload as JPG or PNG. Appears on reports and communications.
  • Client Terms of Engagement (required): Upload as DOC or DOCX (Max 5MB). Click View Zato's Template for a sample to adapt.

Branches

For multi-location firms, click + Add New Branch and provide Branch Name, City, full physical address, contact name, branch email, and phone number. Click Save.

Saved branches appear in a table showing S.No, City, Contact Name, Email, Phone Number, Address, and Actions (edit / delete).

Terms of Use and Firm Details must be completed before you can proceed. Save & Exit becomes available from Step 3 onwards.

Saving

  • Save & Exit: Save and return later.
  • Next Step: Save and proceed to Permissions & Users.

How to access

  1. The Firm Setup Wizard launches automatically on first login.
  2. To return later, click your profile icon and select Firm Setup, then Firm Details.
