How to upload documents while working in a workpaper
Two methods for uploading files to a job, directly from within a workpaper, or via the Data Sources page.
You do not need to leave the workpaper to upload documents. Files can be uploaded directly from within the workpaper via the Supporting Doc panel, or from the Data Sources page.
Method 1: Upload from within the workpaper
- On the right-hand side of the workpaper, click the ">" icon to expand the side panel.
- Go to Supporting Doc and select the Edit option.
- A new dialogue box will appear.
- Click Upload and attach the relevant document.
Method 2: Upload from Data Sources
- Navigate to the Data Sources page for the job.
- Upload the required file(s).
- Return to the workpaper and click Run Zato to reprocess with the new data.
When to use each method
- Method 1 is useful for attaching supporting evidence to a specific workpaper (e.g. bank statements, invoices).
- Method 2 is used when uploading source data that Zato needs to process across the job (e.g. trial balances, depreciation schedules).
