How to resolve bank statement recognition issues after a late upload

How to map bank statements uploaded after initial processing and re-run automation to capture the new data.

If bank statements are uploaded after other data sources have already been processed, you may need to manually map them to the correct bank account before re-running automation.

Method 1: Upload and map via Data Sources (recommended)

  1. Go to the Data Sources page for the job.
  2. Upload the bank statement file.
  3. Select the appropriate Bank Name in the Category column to map the statement to the correct account.
  4. Re-run the automation to process the newly mapped statement.

Method 2: Upload via the Bank Workpaper and CoA Mapping

  1. Open the relevant Bank Workpaper.
  2. On the right-hand side, click the ">" icon to expand the side panel.
  3. Go to Supporting Doc and select the Edit option.
  4. Click Upload and attach the bank statement.
  5. Complete the Chart of Accounts (CoA) Mapping accordingly to link the document.
  6. Click Extract to extract the data from the uploaded statement.

For best results, upload all bank statements before running Zato for the first time on a job. When uploading late, always ensure the Category mapping is correct before re-running the automation.
