Logging in for the first time

How to access Zato using your welcome email credentials and complete OTP verification.

Once your firm is registered, you will receive a welcome email containing your username and a temporary password.

Steps for initial login

  1. Enter username: Use the email address where you received your welcome invite.
  2. Enter temporary password: Carefully copy the password from your welcome email.
  3. Create your new password: Choose a secure password that meets the complexity requirements shown on screen.
  4. Confirm password: Re-enter your new password.
  5. Sign In: Click Sign In to finalise setup and enter the portal.

For security purposes, you will be prompted to reset your temporary password immediately upon first login. Choose a strong, unique password to protect your firm data.

OTP verification

To keep client data secure, Zato requires one-time password (OTP) verification on every login:

  1. After entering your credentials, a 6-digit code will be sent to your registered email.
  2. Enter this code when prompted to complete the secure login process.
