Other Non-Current Liabilities workpaper (OLB)

The Other Non-Current Liabilities (OLB) workpaper reconciles the year-end balances of accounts mapped to the Other Non-Current Liabilities Zato Parent Code.

Data extraction

• Accounts: only account codes mapped to the Other Non-Current Liabilities Zato Parent Code are included.

• Sections: a separate section is created for each mapped account code. The section heading is the account name from the Trial Balance, and you can edit it.

• Account Code: populated in the designated field of each section.

• Description: the first row of each section reads "As per General Ledger".

• Amount: the closing balance of the account code from the General Ledger.

◦ A credit balance is shown as a positive value.

◦ A debit balance is shown as a negative value.

Combining accounts into one section

To group several accounts together:

• Choose the option to create a consolidated section.

• Select the account codes to combine. Only accounts mapped to Other Non-Current Liabilities are listed.

• Confirm your selection.

The workpaper creates one combined section for the selected accounts and removes their individual sections. The combined section's heading is left blank for you to fill in, and the section is fully editable.

Note: An account code appears in only one section, unless you have deliberately combined it into a consolidated section.

Balance per GL

Balance per GL is populated automatically for each section. Balance per Workpaper and Variance are calculated using the standard workpaper formulas.

Editing

You can change section headings, descriptions and values. Automatic population does not stop you making manual updates. Every populated value can be traced back to the COA Mapping, Trial Balance and General Ledger.

How to access

• Go to Jobs and open the relevant job.

• Click the Workpapers icon or navigate to Job Results then Workpapers.

• Select OLB on the Workpapers Dashboard.
