PDF Splitter

How to use the PDF Splitter to separate a consolidated PDF into individual files.

The PDF Splitter allows users to separate a single PDF into multiple individual files. Useful when a client provides all invoices, bank statements, or receipts in one consolidated PDF.

Accessing the PDF Splitter

  • As a standalone feature, accessible from anywhere in the portal after firm setup.
  • During document upload via Source Docs β€” a checkbox prompts you to split before proceeding.

How to use

  1. Click Drag and drop PDF file here, or select a PDF from your system.
  2. Click Upload and Split PDF to begin processing.
  3. Once complete, the uploaded PDF is displayed along with the total number of files created.
  4. Click the arrow beside the file name to expand and see all split documents.
  5. Click the Eye Icon to preview, or the Download Icon to save.

Custom page ranges

For multi-page PDFs, manually edit the page range fields to group specific pages. For example, for a 10-page PDF: set pages 1–3 as the first document, page 4 as the second, and pages 5–10 as the third.

Only one PDF can be uploaded and split at a time. Autocoding and PDF Splitting can be used independently β€” any user with portal access can use these features without setting up clients or running jobs.
