How Zato fits into your workflow

Zato sits between your source accounting data and your finished set of financial statements. It pulls a client's trial balance and general ledger, maps that data to a standardised chart of accounts, and generates the workpapers, review checkpoints, and final reports that your firm would otherwise build by hand.

●       Xero: Zato's primary accounting platform integration, with a two-way sync for clients, jobs, and manual journals.

●       Inland Revenue (IRD): tax and payroll data is uploaded and referenced directly against IRD-sourced documents.

●       Companies Office: company and shareholding details can be pulled directly from the register.

●       The Zato Integration Platform (ZIP): connects document storage (FYI Docs, Google Drive, SharePoint, OneDrive, Dropbox) and other accounting platforms.

Ziffy, your AI assistant

A built-in AI assistant, Ziffy, is docked on every screen in Zato. It answers questions, guides setup, explains figures, and can prepare actions, creating a client, mapping an account, drafting a manual journal, for your explicit confirmation. It never posts, edits, or creates anything without you approving it first.
