Z-Watch: Proactive Setup and Job Tracking

Ziffy's live progress tracker for firm setup and job readiness.

Rather than waiting for you to ask, Z-Watch keeps a live read on onboarding, readiness, review, queries, workpapers, and sign-off for whichever firm, client, or job you're currently on.

At firm level

A numbered setup-progress tracker across six steps (Firm, Client & Job, CoA, TB, Documents, Workpapers), with a banner naming the current step and a Continue button. Each step also shows as its own card: green with a checkmark once complete, highlighted with a red dot for the current step, greyed out with a lock icon for steps not yet reachable.

Sub-step	What it's for
Review	Review the TB mappings and document associations behind the job's workpapers.
Queries	Shows open queries already raised, and candidate queries Ziffy has spotted for missing documents.
Review Points	AI-assisted readiness checks on whether each workpaper is fit to sign off.
Auto MJ	Pick an unreconciled workpaper and ask Ziffy to suggest journals for it.
Explain Workpapers	Ask Ziffy to explain a variance, a dependency, or the document evidence behind a workpaper.
Sign off	A checklist of exactly what's still blocking sign-off.

Auto MJ suggestions are always advisory. Ziffy never posts a journal automatically; a suggestion must be explicitly moved into a manual journal draft, which still needs the same professional review as any other manual journal.
