Running Automation and Viewing Results

What happens when you click Run Zato, and where to find the output.

Run Zato processes the job's mapped data and generates its workpapers. This is the step that turns a fully mapped job into a working set of reconciliations.

Where results appear

Results appear under Job Results, across eight tabs: Smart Coding, GL Scrutiny, Workpapers, Manual Journals, Reports, Command Center, Review & Sign-off, and Activity log.

Smart Coding, GL Scrutiny, and Reports are generated separately from Run Zato, not automatically bundled into it, so they need to be run or generated in their own right.

How to access: Job Details, Run Zato button in the header, then Job Results.

The Run Zato Button

A number is displayed on the Run Zato button, indicating how many workpapers will be affected by this run of the automation, useful for confirming a run reflects the scale of change expected before triggering it. Run Zato can be triggered multiple times across a job's life; each run reprocesses the job's current data and regenerates the affected workpapers.
