Getting Started

Find your way around the left navigation and the controls on every screen.

The left navigation is shown on every screen. Select an item to open it. Items with an arrow expand to show more options. The items you see depend on your role.

Item	Opens
Dashboard	Your overview of jobs, approvals and activity.
Clients	The Clients screen, with the tabs All clients, Groups and Recent.
Jobs	The Jobs screen.
Tax Watch (NZ only)	IRD notifications for your clients, tracked to completion.
Command Centre	Every open query and review point across the firm.
ZBox (File Drive)	The firm’s document store. Expands to File Browser and Integrations.
Tools	Smart Coding, Recoding, GL Scrutiny and PDF Splitter.
Tickets & Requests	Support tickets raised with Zato.
Firm Settings	Expands to Firm Details, Configurations, Activity, Workpaper Studio, ZIP (Integration) and Mail Plugin.

Other controls on every screen

• The headset icon at the bottom left opens Help & Support.

• Your name, email address and role level are shown at the foot of the navigation. Select them to open your profile menu, where you switch portal, organisation and theme.

• At the top right, the bell icons show Approvals and Notifications.

• A Ziffy prompt bar sits at the foot of every screen. Type a question, or switch between Z-Ask and Z-Watch, then select Open Ziffy to open the full Ziffy panel

Note: Clients and jobs are opened from the Clients and Jobs screens. There is no separate Client Details or Job Details item in the navigation.
