Key dates from programme launch through to the strategic review, and what happens at each milestone.

16 March – 6 AprilOnboarding period. Provide user details, select 10 jobs, gather documents.
6 AprilFoundation Period begins. Zato sets up your first 5 jobs.
6 April – 15 MayFoundation Period. Process all 10 ledgers. Circles running alongside.
Late April – Mid MayStrategic discussions. PSM presents tailored ROI analysis and rollout plan.
15 MayProgramme closes. 10 ledgers complete. Ready for the rollout conversation.

If your firm is ready before 6 April and has everything prepared, you do not need to wait. Your PSM will not hold you back.

Timing note for GST and payroll jobs

Process after March returns are filed. Some IRD data may be incomplete early:

  • PAYE due 20 April
  • GST due 7 May
  • RWT due 20 April

Jobs can be from either the 2025 or 2026 financial year.
