Firm Settings Overview
What Firm Settings covers, who can access it, and how it's organised.
Firm Settings is the configuration centre for your practice. Settings configured here, firm details, user access, questionnaires, thresholds, automated rules, and client email delivery, apply by default across every client and job in the firm, and can be overridden at client or job level where needed.
Who can access Firm Details
Only Directors (L6) and Admins (L1) can open and edit Firm Details. Users at other role levels will not see this option in the navigation.
What's covered in Firm Settings
● Firm Details: your firm's profile, logo, and contact information.
● Branches: segmenting clients, jobs, and staff access by office location.
● Permissions & Users: adding your team and assigning role levels.
● Configurations: seven areas, shown as tabs: Questionnaire, Thresholds, Rules Builder, Checklist, Email Settings, Query Reminders and Query Emails.
First-time Login
On first login, a Terms of Use dialog must be accepted before the rest of the portal becomes accessible. Once accepted, you're taken to Firm Details, where four fields are required before your firm profile is considered complete: Firm Name, Primary Email, Primary Phone, and Terms of Engagement.
How to access: Firm Settings in the left-hand navigation by clicking on the gear icon.
