Other Liabilities workpaper (OTL)

How Other Liabilities groups accounts by parent code, and further splits by individual name where the parent code represents more than one person.

The Other Liabilities (OTL) workpaper captures every liability account not already picked up by a more specific workpaper elsewhere in the job.

Data extraction

Liability accounts not mapped elsewhere are grouped here by their Zato parent code. Four parent codes specifically require their own separate table rather than being combined into a general liabilities list: Funds Contributed, Company/Trust; Opening Balance, Company/Trust; Drawings, Company/Trust; and Share of Profit.

●        Where a parent code covers more than one individual (for example, multiple beneficiaries or shareholders), a separate table is built per person, split by name, rather than one combined table for the parent code as a whole.

How to access

●        Go to Jobs and open the relevant job.

●        Click the Workpapers icon or navigate to Job Results then Workpapers.

●        Select OTL on the Workpapers Dashboard.
